This smiling shepherdess with walking stick, lovely dress and flowery hat is holding a little nest with two lovebirds, a symbol of the goddess Venus. This mural is a gift from het hospital Diaconessenhuis to the city of Utrecht, because of its 900th birthday. &nbsp;</div>

A lovely and colorful work of art and in real the bats are living there! See the holes/ bat houses in the middle. It is inspired by her youth, she watched the bats fly out in the early evening at het grandmothers home in Marokko. <div>Mural nearby Parking Springweg, back entrance. Number 4 in a series of big murals about Utrecht physicists who have made important scientific discoveries. Caroline Bleeker was a feminist and physicist and had a lot of knowledge of scientific instruments. Her company designed a special microscope to look inside living cells. We see many nice aspects in this mural.</div>

No crying over spilled milk, Honey

<div>This enormus mural brings the lost Maria Church back into the streets of Utrecht city center. The church was heavily shelled and was demolished for a long period until 1844. This mural is on the exact same location where the church previously stood.<br><br>The old Dutch painter Pieter Saenredam made a sketch of the church in 1636. This was a preliminary study for a larger painting of the church interior. The paper is only 10 by 10 centimeters in size! De Strakke Hand used this tiny paper for this huge wallpainting. They added a contemporary student of the conservatory nearby, a wink to today.</div>

<div>Originally there was no window in this place. The painted window seems to belong there. A little <strong><em>trompe-l'oeil </em></strong>effect. There is a cat sitting in the windowsill, there are plants hanging out and we see a chair. From that chair you can look outside and enjoy&nbsp;the beautiful view.</div>

<div>On this masterpiece by Janisdeman various well-known and historic facades of the Straatweg and surroundings can be seen.To make this design he asked residents, entrepreneurs and others involved what their favorite street facade is. All of this has been incorporated in this "world in itself", including a trompe-l'oeil effect of the wall and of this compiled world. A small picture shows which buildings are depicted.</div>

<div>A lovely little Rabbit in epoxy heart. One of many hearts made bij streetartist Sillystreethearts in Utrecht. Sometimes you meet our Nijntje (Miffy) designed by Dick Bruna in a heart, or a statement concerning art, an all-seeing eye, or almost extinguished animals with a sweet look. Often found in places near other Streetart or combined with them. They always make you big-smile and feel the love. Locations are not on any map because they sometimes 'disappear".
