Flute player

Part of an old painting, expanded. We see a flute player, a boy lit by candlelight, holding a transverse flute, wearing a hat with feathers. Originally painted in 1621 by Abraham Bloemaert. Empowered by Central Museum Utrecht and Mural number 3 of the Caravaggio project. This is a series of three big paintings throughout the city of Utrecht to honor 17th century painters from Utrecht who painted like Caravaggio, plying with light and dark in their paintings. All original paintings are in Central Museum now. This one is 11 floors high, this is about 30 meters and 10 meters wide, by far the highest and biggest Mural in Utrecht.
