Sleeping Mars

Painting of a sleeping soldier or god Mars, originally made by Hendrick ter Brugghen (Utrecht, 1629). Empowered by Central Museum Utrecht and Mural number 2 of the Caravaggio project. This is a series of three big paintings throughout the city to honor 17th century painters from Utrecht who painted like Caravaggio, plying with light and dark in their paintings. Little more than 12 meters high.
