<div>Mr Fijodor chooses a whale as the protagonist of his artwork for the Goal 14 (Life below water) of the project Towards 2030. This animal is in fact the biggest marine mammal, but yet the most vulnerable. It represents the fragility of the marine ecosystem and aims to be a spokesman about the extreme and shortsighted exploitation of the oceans made by humans.&nbsp;</div>

<div>Fluvial areas must be fumigated from unpleasant animals, such as rats. Instead of using chemical agents, Roa suggests to reinsert a native animal of the place that could naturally bring balance: the weasel. Made for the 2010 PicTurin festival, this huge artwork is a masterpiece of the anonymous artist, that uses animals (with a phenomenal attention to detail) to represent the life - death circle.&nbsp;</div>

Mrfijodor continues a season full of new interventions with a work in the Piedmont region, home of the Ligurian artist for several years now.</div><div><br></div><div>And just "home" is the concept investigated by Mrfijodor for "Gray Heron: the good immigrant" - "Gray Heron: the good immigrant." The Gray Heron - in addition to being the symbolic migratory bird of the Turin area - is native to the more temperate regions of Europe and Africa and is the species of heron that travels the farthest north to the Arctic Circle.</div><div><br></div><div>A journey that Mrfijodor reinterprets in his work in a current and modern key: a lucid, articulate and tight composition of objects and "papers" that the modern migrant faces. A transparent critique of the condition of today's migrants who often experience uncomfortable and inhumane situations in order to reach what they one day hope to call "home," that which they-often for atrocious reasons, such as war-have been denied.</div><div><br></div><div>Not to mention the nature of our migratory bird, the subject of the work: an animal species that, like some situations experienced by migrants, is constantly threatened by the risk of capture, exploitation and extinction (due to climate change). The blue drops are both representing water and tears, underlining the urgency of the problem (water is in fact not available for everyone, causing great struggles). The young face is very emotional, because water is fundamental to life and its lack can affect the life of many.&nbsp;</div>

<div>Zed1 carries the tough burden of investigating the theme of the Goal 1 (No poverty) of the project Towards 2030. The sun illuminates a wallet, filtering through the wicked clouds that represent in order: corruption (man in balaclava holding a briefcase full of money), lack of education (broken book), war (machine gun and barbed wire), health system disservice (Red Cross falling sign), issue of living in dangerous places (ruined building), lack of resources (broken rake) and pollution (crude oil barrel). A character carries a coin, some bread and a house, opposing to the shaded areas where the flowers are withered by the barren soil. The hands holding the wallet are the same ones that removes the clouds, because only the conscious actions of mankind can bring real change.&nbsp;</div>

This new work is also part of the second chapter of the&nbsp; <strong>Nichelino Lights Up Festival</strong> , an urban redevelopment project through the walls of the city, with the councilor&nbsp; <strong>Fiodor Verzola</strong>&nbsp; (godfather of the initiative) and the author&nbsp; <strong>Giulio Rosk</strong>&nbsp; (the one of the great mural in Palermo dedicated to Falcone and Borsellino,&nbsp; <em>ed</em> ) who wanted to pay homage to another Turinese who wrote important pages in the history of Italy.&nbsp;<br><br></div>

<div>A character hangs in the balance. The small boat he's handling is loosing control in a stormy sea. His sailor (a small dog) is terrified and climbs up to the head of his owner, seeking for shelter. The captain has old fashioned clothes and leads the boat with an oar of the shape of a roller brush: he represents the modern artist which, remembering a time when artists thrived in courts, lives in a constant sense of precariousness. Zed1 represents a slice of contemporary life with a delicate and snarky touch, inviting us to jump on the boat of his living to better understand his personal feelings and experiences.&nbsp;</div>

<div>For centuries, sculptures have represented the ideologies of a certain age and were replaced when this ideologies changed. Today, the public art is not anymore this, but it's the voice of the people that talking about their culture and values defines their generation. Every day, more and more voices are listened: we are a worldwide community, responsible for the wealth of the single. This artwork introduces the project "Towards 2030 What are you doing?": a program inspired by the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations. Ernest Zacharevic hopes this mural becomes a monument to the strength required to lead the change.&nbsp;</div>

Bronze sculpture - History and tradition

<div>This mural was created by Millo and is part of the B.art - Arte in barrier project. The project, called Habitat, won the competition organized by the City of Turin and the Urban Barrier Committee and organized by the Contrada Torino Foundation and changed 13 facades in the Barrier area of Milan. Millo created 13 murals, with the theme the relationship between human being and urban model.<br>It is the biggest mural.</div>

<div><strong><br>SAT_Street-Art TOuRINO</strong> born in <strong>2014</strong> and consists in the organization of various street art tours that developped through the streets of Turin. <strong>SAT</strong> is the first tour project conceived and created on the territory with the aim of pursuing a path of dissemination and support of street art and urban culture. One of the intentions of the project is to show the lesser-known neighborhoods or located in the outskirts of the city to highlight the areas where urban redevelopment projects took place.
