A new way of working is put into practice in the monumental buildings of the former Philips factories.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>To excite the community visually every day you will find large pieces, small murals, crows and washi tape decorations in the most original places. Made by local but also international icons in graffiti scene. Check our letterbox, toilets, power cabinet, silo and the walls in the various buildings and offices. C-mill

<div>Heerlen is home to a lot of murals. Oh really? Yes. So, in foundation Cuttin' Class' spirit (helping kids), they went to table with maintenance department of Heerlen. The result is this huge free writing area for younger or older talents. In 2018 Getting Up Foundation invited a lot of international graffiti writers for the Unframed expo. They also ate there heart out at the hall of fame so go check it out.</div>

Hall of Fame

<div>Across the street of the biggest Hall of Fame location of Heerlen is another smaller Hall of Fame. In 2011 Street Art Festival 'Lak aan Braak' broke rules by making the first mural on this wall. Sinds then it has become a place where many artist have left their work behind. In 2018 Getting Up Foundation invited a lot of international graffiti writers for the Unframed expo. They also ate there heart out at this location.</div>

<div>Restaurant Graffiti is located in the heart of Heerlen in Limburg; the city known for its murals. Culinary and artistic go hand in hand at Restaurant Graffiti. You can’t see that&nbsp; in the artwork on the plate, but also in the artwork in and around the restaurant. The murals in our restaurant have been applied by Eelco van den Berg, Stohead, Collin van der Sluijs, Zedz, Rutger Termohlen, Super A and Hadassah Emmerich. On the outside facade of the restaurant you can admire a work by Claudio Ethos.</div>

<div>May we introduce you to Hennie and Marco? The couple bought a historical house at Sittarderweg 81 in Heerlen. The house has it's roots in Heerlen's coal mine history, but a lot of time, sweat and love, transformed it to it's current role. A beautiful B&amp;B, managed by Hennie and Marco. The process took them 3 years, and the result is great! Two rooms with insane street art paintings made by locals James Jetlag and Lars Ickenroth. Both artists translated a piece of history of Heerlen with their own imagination. So visitors can actually sleep in an artwork, how about that?</div><div>To complete the B&amp;B, the hallway has been decorated with two masterpieces from street artist Dazetwo. The exterior of the house shows the oldest street art painting in Heerlen, fully recovered in 2017 in the same way as the original ad from 1917. It's a must see! There is more to find in and around the B&amp;B as the owners totally love street art, and they are far from done (their words!). Can you find the other artworks?</div>
