The second time travel installation by Dazetwo in a Roman theme. Of course situated in the Roman quarter of Heerlen. This time a work inspired by the famous cartoon of Asterix and Obelix where they fight off the Roman soldiers.

Real cool mix of a 2D background with 3D raven sculptures that give the mural a nice depth of field and dynamic effect. Especially where the scenes go off canvas.

Small detail: Dazetwo first created this work at the beginning of the Geleenstraat (near the Geerstraat), but had to remove/relocate/recreate it, because of legal issues.
