Description

One of my favorites of Jaune in Heerlen. Jaune has quite some works where he makes use of the situation at hand. Defects like this broken glass for example are turned into intentional work.

This mine worker lives in the elevator of Cultural Center 'Schunk'. This former department store was a household name during the mining days and a great example of the bold architecture in those days (1930's) by Frits Peutz.

When you walk up the stairs you might also encounter some other busy mine worker friends.
