<div><strong>Boa Mistura, a world-famous team of artists, invites to fight against climate change with the mural on a nine-story building.<br></strong><br>The fresco depicts fish and other oceans on a dark blue background and is initiated by Our Fish, an international NGO. With this picture, Vilnius residents, guests and top decision-makers will be invited to pay more attention to the protection of the oceans and other water bodies and to take more effective care of climate determinants.</div>

<div>This masterpiece was made by Italian artist Millo during "Vilnius Street Art" festival in 2015th.<br><br>Artist created his very first site-specific mural incorporating existing windows and other architectural details into the monochromatic painting. As Millo claims, he is becoming a little bored with paper white plain walls, so he was excited for a possibility to play with architectural details in his mural.&nbsp;<br><br>The wall is located just opposite Halės market, one of the most charismatic and oldest markets in Vilnius, Train station district.</div>

<div>Artist himself tells briefly where this work came from and what it is for: „At close range, each person is different, but when viewed from a distance, they become equal. But while similar in mass, each of them is a citizen, which is the basic cell of the state. Without citizens, there would be no state. A citizen is a state. Lithuania has been enjoying freedom for 30 years thanks to its citizens, who were not afraid and said “NO” to the foreign regime. On the occasion of all our birthdays, I wish you joy and pride in your country. The time alone would not be to look to the past, to cry or moan over hardship, but simply to rejoice, be proud, create, change and change. After all, we have done and have so much. <div>The illustration is inspired by the words of Jonas Mekas that „everyone, even without knowing it, somewhere deep in themselves, may be carrying part of the image of paradise in secret.“ (From the movie "As I was moving ahead occasionally I saw brief glimpses of beauty").<br>Interpreting these words, I decided to revive, resurrect, and transplant the Tree of Paradise that Mecca had planted in New York's Soho Quarter. But he was cut off. The tree here becomes a bridge between Earth and Paradise, a symbol of rebirth, of free creation.</div>

He was a founding member and the central coordinator of Fluxus - an international community of artists, architects, composers and designers. With their work, the Fluxus artists pushed art well outside of mainstream venues like galleries and museums. It's not a coincidence, because the artwork was made on the brick fence of Lukiškės Prison.<br><br>The elastic composition of the woman and the eagle decorated the massive protective fencing of the Lukiškės Prison from the free world. The place is also not coincidental - just 100 years ago, the Tsar of Russia built Lukiškės Prison on the outskirts of Vilnius, but nowadays this is one of few prisons that operate in the city centers of democratic cities.</div>

<div>This mural at&nbsp; the intersection of Konstitucijos pr. and Linkmenu str. was done by combining street art with digital art. Artist <strong><em>Adomas Žudys</em></strong> is currently experimenting with 3D scanning technology, which scans various objects, such as posing people, to transfer their 3D view to a computer program. Playing with the textures and naturally occurring lines scanned during the scanning, he want to get the volume effect in the two-dimensional space on the walls or canvas.
