North West Walls - 2024

Since 2014, the North West Walls have been a striking element in the Festivalpark in Werchter (Belgium). Rock Werchter has shown that art also belongs at a music festival and that it works.

North West Walls has given the festival a fantastic artistic allure. When it comes to art projects, this is a very ambitious project. North West Walls is a marker in the landscape that can be admired long after the festival period has ended. It is a permanent installation. But it's not. Because it looks different every year.

Curator by Arne Quinze, the North West Walls are brought to life each year by a new group of street artists.

For NWW#9, curator Arne Quinze has invited six top street artists: Fabian Bane (CH), GOMAD (NL), Temponok (FR), Bisser (BE), Lobster Robin (BE) & Kitsune (BE).
