102. Studio ZepaStudioZEPA's counter intuitive colour use often disguises their subject matter in abstract forms.
Inspired by cubism and fauvism, their colour application represents diversity and equality, attempting to unify humans though a stained glass-esque lens.
They play a lot with contrasting colours. From a distance colours mix and up close the eye over compensates creating optical illusions or glitches. Their shapes are often inspired the movements and feeling used to create graffiti lettering, emphasizing flow and form.
The duo combines vivid colours with detailed, illustrative line work, and spray paint techniques resulting in powerful artworks. These elements symbolizes the diversity, and complexity, of todays society.
StudioZEPA comprises of Zesta and Page33, hence the name ZEPA.

105. El Rey de la RuinaEl REY de la RUINA, in English: "The King of the Ruins" is the pseudonym and manifesto of an artist born in Barcelona, but who has lived in Madrid for more than 15 years. Through graffiti and painting in public spaces he shows us a personal vision of society, full of iconic images that, through repetition, are inserted into the retina of the passerby and become a vehicle for acidic and poetic messages. Plastically, his work is a collage of styles, plots and primary colors in vibrant combinations. In his graphic and mural work, the floral motifs, hearts, hands and symbolic objects tell us endless stories, sometimes of protest and rage, sometimes of poetry and inspiration. With clear and powerful drawing work and lines, a high-contrast color range and a series of vibrant geometric games and compositions, the artist plays with the musicality of the image while working with inspiring and ironic messages and conceptual games on the public space, contributing to all kind of new thoughts, discussions and conversations to the walker and society.
In his own words: I believe that my work works on two levels, an optical level close to op-art and a conceptual level, close to Pop art or even Punk, in which the important thing is the message and the provocation. The visual part has something lysergic and psychedelic and connects with surreal and fantastic thinking, it captures the eye and hypnotizes with the vibration of the colors, it has an acidic flavor, which can almost be noticed on the tongue and palate, like a bauble that traps you in a world of wonder that is actually a trap. This trap becomes evident when you become aware of the physical and material part of the image, let's say that the realistic and critical part punches you in the face, as if you had fallen through the burrow hole to hit a wall of reality.

108. Tony Gallo"In my works the human form is like a second skin, which has the ability to camouflage itself in nature taking on the forms of an animal or a tree, whilst maintaining however the feelings, the emotions and the values of men. This artistic research has become an introduction into a magical journey from which I have learnt an important lesson, which is contradictory in that you need to look beyond reality but at the same time not trust in what you see." 111. Rocket01Rocket01 is a highly accomplished street artist and mural painter with over three decades of experience in the field. Originating from Sheffield, UK, Rocket01 currently resides in Portugal where he operates a studio in the northern city of Porto.
With a unique and recognisable style, Rocket01's work has gained recognition globally. He began as a graffiti artist in 1994 and quickly distinguished himself with his signature letter style incorporating realism and 3D elements. Later on, he transitioned to larger-scale mural projects, traveling worldwide to bring his art to diverse communities.
In his early graffiti years, he painted Sheffield's abandoned buildings, working alone in solitude. These hidden works became a crucial period of growth and experimentation, allowing him to refine his artistic skills and explore different styles. Despite remaining underground and unseen by the public, this time shaped his artistic identity and laid the foundation for future achievements.
Today, Rocket01 has shifted his focus to murals, studio work, and canvas paintings, where he explores his passion for dreamy sci-fi retro surrealism. His paintings often touch on themes of environmentalism, technology, science, and the natural world, inviting viewers to interpret and connect with his art in their own way.
Rocket01's artwork is instantly recognisable for its distinctive colour palette, which draws inspiration from the colours found in plant life. Although he initially used a combination of red and green hues, he has since expanded his use of colour to include turquoise and pink shades, among others. This limitless approach to colour allows Rocket01 to create truly unique and striking pieces that showcase his creativity and artistic talent.
Throughout his work, Rocket01 frequently incorporates the peace sign and CND badge as symbols of environmental and social consciousness. He also includes helmets, headwear, and animals as representations of the natural world and human progress.
Rocket01's painting techniques are as unique as his style. He specialises in using spray cans on canvas using a specially modified cap to achieve incredibly fine, almost hairline strokes. While it can be a challenging and time-consuming process, it's the method that Rocket01 has perfected over time, allowing him to maintain a connection to his street art roots.

118. Lily BrickHi! I'm Lily Brick, and I was born in Lleida 32 years ago. From a very young age, I began to show
an interest in design and the arts in general, and this led me to study Advertising Graphic
Design. For five years, I worked as a designer for different companies and organizations,
developing my skills and learning about other areas in the design world. With some experience
gained, I became head of a printing company, managing staff, resources and directly
coordinating its design area. After two years at the head of this printing company, I began to
explore new ways of channelling my artistic concerns and, during that search, I discovered
spray. Within a short time, my hobby became a profession and commissions began to arrive.
My first works were in Lleida’s public gardens and in the outskirts of the city, where I spent a
few weeks developing my hobby. The discovery of these works by curious observers in the
midst of rural places led to the beginning of my trade and my first commissioned mural. Images
of my works quickly spread on social media and soon went viral, which made my art begin to
become widely known.
8 years later, street art has become my trade. More than 300 works in very different parts of
the world bear Lily's signature. Among the most notable pieces, it is worth mentioning the large
murals that I've made in Penelles, Juncosa, Granadella, Alcarràs, Tremp, El Cogul, and also
numerous other muralism projects in Barcelona, Martorell, Ferrol, Malaga or Murcia, where I
exhibited at the Museum of contemporary art (MUBAM).
I have the mark of having made the largest mural in Spain, made by a single woman. A brand
that I recently surpassed again with the mural made in Nou Transport (Lleida), with a surface
area of 750 m².
In 2017, I began the internationalization of my career in France, with my participation in the Hotel
128 project. Subsequently, multiple projects emerged, among which I highlight murals in Gambia,
at the European Space Agency in Holland, at the Artscape Festival event in Sweden, Techfest
IIT Bombay in India, at the Reeperbahn Festival in Hamburg (Germany), The Hague Street Art
Festival in Holland and lately in Happy Walls Festival in Saïdia (Morocco).
With my murals, I work trying to make visible empowered women with strong and intense gaze.
Since my introduction to the world of street art, the main techniques that I have developed
have been spray, acrylic paint, brushes and rollers.

120. Fabio PetaniStrong are the messages of our alchemist Fabio Petani, who mixes chemical and botanical knowledge in an investigating union of the natural essence. Work that winks at the ancient popular wisdom of recognizing plants, but his work is a deeper research, each of his works is a piece of a herbolarium and of the table of elements. Nothing is given to chance, each plant and each element are chemically linked together, this natural and alchemical link between plants and elements develops, because everything is linked to the territory in which the intervention is carried out. Fabio leaves scattered throughout the world reflections aimed at respect for nature and every molecule. The alchemical dichotomy of the universe is represented. Everything is represented with strong delicacy, the color palette is almost always soft and gives elegance to his works, the colors always chosen to embellish the pages are from his herbarium in the most balanced way possible with the surrounding landscape, so much from a distance his works as one with the previous architecture. To counteract this kindness he contrasts the use of vigorous geometric elements, which break up the linear vision of the whole, the focal point of his works are the phytomorphic figures, which are not banal decorative elements but the botanical heritage of the territory in which they act, these elements floral tend to establish a solid relationship between work and territory. Thus they create the message for those who identify it to regain possession of the natural knowledge of the world, investigating it with a new look, deepening it with the means of science. Because this alchemical combination will bring us back to appreciate what surrounds us and may perhaps be the key to understanding a part of universal functioning.Showing all artists, updated on a daily basis.
