Sammie, also known as Simian Switch, is a skilled illustrator and muralist hailing from the vibrant city of Dordrecht, Netherlands. His artistic journey began in the early 2000s leading to wholeheartedly embracing the craft. The rich artistic heritage of Dordrecht, also known for its infamous and iconic Dutch style writers, served as a wellspring of inspiration and influenced Simian's techniques and artistic growth. His work blends tribalism, symbolism, and elements of psychedelia, resulting in vivid, dreamlike but harsh landscapes or portraits, juxtaposing paradoxical themes. Also honored to be the initiator of Iconoclash and Meeting of Styles Dordrecht 2020.
