The wall paintings at Rheingönheim railway station combine dynamic graffiti lettering with natural imagery and regional symbols.
A second mural on the stairway features a large red-and-white shield containing a stylised blue fish and green, heart-shaped leaves growing from curling vines. Beside it is a blue shield bearing a golden, bird-like figure.
The artworks were created in 2024 as part of Deutsche Bahn's efforts to improve the appearance of the station. A local report published in July 2024 documents the wider programme of artistic improvements at railway stations in Ludwigshafen.
The heraldic references remain only partially identifiable. The shield with the fish belongs to the City of Kaiserslautern. The golden bird could be the coat of arms of Silesia. The third one couldn’t be identified.
