Description

The mural in the underpass of a train station was created by Mate, a graffiti artist from Milan. His work combines realism with graffiti: a close-up portrait of a smiling woman next to the Brandenburg Gate, surrounded by large flowers against a blue and white sky.

The mural was created in 2020, during the pandemic, as part of the station’s Meeting of Styles. It was organised by Buntic Media with Deutsche Bahn and the city of Ludwigshafen. The project involved 25 international artists.
