<div>From the late 19th century until the 1970s, brands invested in murals on building facades to extol the qualities of popular consumer goods or local businesses. In Liège, there have been dozens, including the one that has just been restored in Saint-Léonard. It was only a shadow, a specter and yet no inhabitant of the North District could doubt it: it was a glass of beer! Vivegnis street stands the building of the old Haecht brewery. Brasserie since 1892 and until the 70s, this building was restored in 2002 by the architect Eric Furnémont.<br>The restoration of the advertising Haecht Vivegnis from the 50s, was entrusted to Jérémy GOFFART (artist, graphic designer, draftsman, painter and serigraphist, with whom the Echevinat Heritage and Public Art works for many years in the framework of the Paliss'art operation) and Delphine GOURDON (conservator-conservator, whose proven expertise has been confirmed in the restoration of the Souverain-Pont street sign).</div>

<div>In Liège, a fresco of a height of +/- 2 m over a length of +/- 25 meters, has just taken place on the wall of the depot of the City of Liege located rue Varin, near the n ° 81. This wall was chosen for its technical accessibility and high visibility, as well as for its location of choice, since it runs along a busy road, near the Guillemins station.<br>Inspired by medieval iconography, Honet comes from graffiti. The artist has constructed the fresco in the style of a coat of arms where each element can be interpreted either in isolation or as a whole, thus evoking the medieval past of both cities. The content of the fresco thus borrows its vocabulary in medieval times and the world of graffiti. The work is full of graphic references religious, esoteric and folk related to the culture of Liège; its colors evoke the Belgian flag and history<br>tumultuous of Belgium.</div>

<div>Rue Cockerill à Seraing, une peinture a été réalisée sur la palissade fermant le site qui accueillera le complexe Néocitta 1. Une autre fresque a été inaugurée le mois dernier dans le bas d’Ougrée, sur un grand mur de la rue de Boncelles.<br><br></div><div>Cette œuvre est le fruit d’une collaboration entre des écoliers et des riverains. En effet, il est apparu que bon nombre d’habitants d’Ougrée et du Biez du Moulin déplorent le fait que, près des sites industriels et dans certaines rues, les murs et les façades de maison sont sales et que cela génère des incivilités. C’est ainsi qu’est née l’idée de créer une peinture murale.<br><br></div><div>Le projet a été soumis aux écoles et les enfants ont réalisé des dessins sur base de thèmes en lien avec leur quartier. Ensuite, leur travail a été envoyé à un muraliste chilien professionnel, Alejandro Mono Gonzalez, qui a mis en forme les idées des enfants puis a réalisé le tracé de l’œuvre.<br><br></div><div>Les habitants du quartier ont également apporté leur touche en y apposant de la couleur. Le résultat est à la fois original et très coloré !<br><br></div>

Celle-ci est plus confidentielle et se dévoile à l'arrière des voitures stationnées sur ce terrain vague, à quelques encablures du Jardin botanique.<br><br></div>

<div>&nbsp;La SPACE est un projet développé depuis 2002 par le sculpteur belge Alain De Clerck. Elle est matérialisée par une œuvre de l’artiste située à Liège. Le principe est simple : lorsqu’un citoyen introduit 1 € dans un parcmètre, il déclenche une flamme et participe à la constitution d’un fonds. La recette, augmentée par le mécénat d’entreprise, a permis l’acquisition des 60 œuvres de la SPACE Collection.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;L’artiste liégeois Alain De Clerck a inauguré samedi la quatrième version de son horodateur qui permet de faire fonctionner sa célèbre flamme installée en Féronstrée. Le duo d’artistes Mon colonel et Spit a ainsi relooké la borne où on insère des pièces.&nbsp;</div>

<div>Didier Jaba Mathieu puts color on the campus of Sart Tilman! Since Tuesday, the graffiti artist is in full work on campus: he produces a fresco of 11 meters, which completes a first work created in 2015. The whole comes to enrich the collection of the Open Air Museum of Sart Tilman, who set up this collaboration. Jaba is an exceptional street art artist. With his color bombs, abstract shapes and lettering, he builds a universe inspired by cinema, science fiction and futuristic megacities. Born in Colombia, having spent his adolescence in Liège, Jaba has been living in Singapore for about ten years. A graffiti collector, he leads an international career and contributes to give his nobility to urban paintings.</div>

<div>As part of the Murmure project, we organized a "Graf custom" workshop for teenagers aged 12 to 18 years old. This took place the first week of the Easter holidays which took place from April 3rd to 6th. The young people were supervised by Rémi, Louis and Julien from the artist collective "Les Débrouillards". With the help of our animators, teens have learned the graffiti techniques they have was put into practice on different media from the paper on the wall of an electric cab in the center of Liège. To do this, Rémi, Louis and Julian first asked the young people if they had already made graffiti to adapt the more "theoretical" part. So they began with drawing, on a sheet of paper, they made lettering in order to see the level of each. Then there was graffiti on panels that will serve as a backdrop for the Zététique theater. They chose the word "Trocity" because, for them, a city where everything is exchanged is an ideal city. Before painting the bombshell, Rémi and Louis obviously explained how to carry out a spray painting as well as the safety instructions. On Fridays, the young people accompanied by the Débrouillards, were fortunate enough to paint a fresco they had ponderously reflected on the wall of an electric booth located in the center of Liege, on Avroy Boulevard. The young people did not lack ideas but Rémi and Louis took the decision to set up the most realistic project, it's why they reproduced cartoon characters.<br><br>Dans le cadre du projet Murmure, nous avons organisé un stage « Graf custom » pour les adolescents de 12 à 18 ans. Celle-ci a eu lieu la première semaine des vacances de Pâques qui s’est déroulée du 3 au 6 avril.<br>Les jeunes ont été encadrés par Rémi, Louis et Julien du collectif d’artistes « Les Débrouillards ». Avec l’aide de nos animateurs, les ados ont appris les techniques de graff qu’ils ont<br>pu mettre en pratique sur différents supports en partant du papier au mur d’une cabine électrique dans le centre de Liège.<br>Pour ce faire, Rémi, Louis et julien ont, tout d’abord, demandé aux jeunes s’ils avaient déjà réalisé des graffitis afin d’adapter la partie plus « théorique ». Ils ont donc commencé par du dessin, sur une feuille, ils réalisaient du lettrage dans le but de voir le niveau de chacun.<br><br>Ensuite, il y a eu la réalisation de graffitis sur des panneaux qui serviront de décor pour le Zététique théâtre. Ils ont choisi le mot « Trocity » puisque, pour eux, une ville où tout se troque est une ville idéale. Avant de peindre à la bombe, Rémi et Louis ont bien évidemment expliqué comment effectuer une peinture à la bombe ainsi que les consignes de sécurité. Le vendredi, les jeunes accompagnés des Débrouillards,<br>ont eu la chance de peindre une fresque qu’ils avaient murement réfléchie, sur le mur d’une cabine électrique située dans le centre de Liège, sur le Boulevard d’Avroy. Les jeunes ne manquaient pas d’idées mais Rémi et Louis ont pris la décision de mettre en place le projet le plus réaliste, c’est<br>pourquoi ils ont reproduit des personnages de dessins animés.</div>

On the facade of the "basilica" of Cointe, parts of the concrete cladding collapsed, revealing the brick structure. Among them, a seagull wearing a red poppy. For Olivier Hamal, president of the non-profit organization of the Interallié monument site, "the decoration is certainly a little original, the tastes and the colors can provoke reactions from each other about it but its advantage is that it helps to ensure the visibility of the building while hiding part of its miseries Another advantage: tomorrow, if we renovate the building, we can remove the painting from the fresco without difficulty. <div>Triennale art public&nbsp; La rue Saint-Martin-en-Île est étroite, grise, pas très fréquentée et pas franchement engageante, ni d’ailleurs toujours propre. Blancbec a su tenir compte de ces qualités peu aimables. On comprend aisément la réponse que constitue sa palette de tons vifs à l’atmosphère terne du lieu : « Mon intention est de réinventer le passage dans la rue. La transition du gris à la couleur est comme le cheminement vers un autre monde, vers l’île de Saint-Martin dans la mer des Caraïbes où on peut découvrir, après une épopée fantastique, un trésor de pirates. » L’artiste a aussi intégré l’exiguïté du passage. Plutôt qu’une image monumentale difficile à appréhender faute de recul, il déroule une composition narrative dont l’histoire est séquencée en tableaux dimensionnés pour être lus depuis la rue. Il ne s’agit pourtant pas d’une œuvre de circonstance. Blancbec reste fidèle à la gamme chromatique et à l’écriture géométrique qui caractérisent l’ensemble de son travail.&nbsp;</div>

<div><a href="https://www.rtc.be/article/info/divers/des-fresques-pour-donner-du-peps-a-des-sites-industriels_1509671_325.html">Des fresques pour donner du peps à des sites industriels - RTC Télé Liège</a><br><strong>Une touche colorée et artistique pour embellir un parc industriel, c’est l’initiative d’une société flémalloise. Les murs du bâtiment qui abrite les ateliers de l'entreprise Metal Forming ont été offerts au collectif liégeois Spray Can Arts. Trois artistes y ont chacun réalisé une œuvre et l’ensemble constitue une nouvelle offre lancée par l’association artistique.&nbsp;<br></strong><br></div><div>"La dame de La Meuse" fume paisiblement depuis quelques jours au bord du fleuve à hauteur de Flémalle. La fresque qui orne un des murs du bâtiment industriel rappelle celle de "L’homme de la Meuse", installé quai de la Dérivation à Liège. Son épouse flémalloise est l’une des trois œuvres nées de la réflexion du patron de la société Metal Forming, spécialisée dans le travail du métal. <em>"Non seulement nos bâtiments n'étaient pas très beaux mais, sans être méchant, le quartier non plus"</em>, explique Jérôme Vecchio, le directeur de Metal Forming.<em> "Je me suis dit il faut égailler ça. En tant que grand fan de street art, j'avais aussi envie de laisser libre expression à des artistes de notre région."<br></em><br></div><div>C’est le collectif Spray Can Arts qui s’est chargé d’amener des couleurs sur les murs de l’entreprise. Ce premier projet initie une nouvelle démarche, différente de ce que le collectif artistique propose généralement en plein centre urbain. L'asbl lance “Signature”. Un nouveau catalogue d’artistes muralistes, à disposition pour des fresques d’envergure. À cette occasion, SCA a réuni une série d’artistes autour d’une grande fresque collective en bord de Meuse. Ces artistes, avec qui l’asbl a tissé des liens lors de précédentes collaborations.<br><br></div><div>À Flémalle, sur le site de Metal Forming, les artistes Sozyone, Pref et Adèle Renault affichent tous leur "griffe" bien particulière.
