Inspired by hip-hop culture and growing up in the neighborhoods of Riga, I realized quite early on how fitting it would be to infuse color into the grayness of the districts through art. Working with spray paints involves mastering specific techniques, which I've been practicing for 15 years now. These skills translate into creating spatial graffiti letters and utilizing stencil techniques. The words that characterize my artistic vision are sensitivity, plasticity, and attention to detail. My sources of inspiration can be found in the dynamic urban space, extreme activities, and the tranquility of nature. Formally established, I work both locally - in Latvia, Riga - and abroad.

Julien Primard began painting in the early 2000s, in the streets on the walls of abandoned factories in the Paris suburbs, and then founded the collective La Thérapicturale with a group of graffiti artist friends. After various artistic interventions, Primard curated the exhibition ‘Lieux d’être’ in 2015, at the Petit Lieu de l’Art Contemporain in Toulon.
