482. Hugo MedinaI was born in La Paz, Bolivia, and immigrated to New York as a child, where my artistic journey and educational pursuits began. I obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts from C.W. Post/Long Island University in 1998 and a Master of Arts in Education from the University of Phoenix in 2006. My commitment to community-based art education was shaped by a formative experience volunteering on the Kumeyaay Indian Reservation during my college years.
In 1998, I moved to Phoenix to teach art and design, custom metalwork, and sculpture. I established after-school programs and formed partnerships to connect students with local art institutions. My experience at Ironco Enterprise further developed my expertise in steel construction, CAD design, and project management.
In 2009, I transitioned to full-time artistry with my first solo exhibition in Arizona and co-founded the Calle 16 Mural Project, which empowers neighborhoods through community murals. My involvement also includes roles with Artlink and the Phoenix Arts and Cultural Commission.
I currently reside in Ithaca, New York, where I support my partner's doctoral studies at Cornell University while advancing my own career. My work, rooted in my Bolivian heritage and immigrant experience, celebrates resilience, multiculturalism, and the unifying power of art in communities.

483. Ricky AlsoRicky Also's love for typography, colour & layout are the product of his background in graffiti art and graphic design.
Drawing on these influences he creates structured artworks from words and sayings that interlock in multiple layers. Featuring exaggerated & manipulated letterforms that help to give a unique sense of movement and rhythm. With the majority of his work taking the form of painted murals, he plays heavily with scale and the concept of using supersized graphics to transform spaces and environments.
Now based on the south coast of the UK, Ricky applies his art to a wide range of projects nationally, working through his creative practice, Paintshop (paintshopstudio.com).
Ricky is an established artist in the graffiti and street art movements with over 30 experience developing his own work as well as curating and helping to producing various street arts events and projects including the Upside outdoor gallery (Bournemouth) and MultiStories - Street art car park (Southampton).

In her contemporary art La Rock alienates every element of her graffiti name into minimalist, brutalist abstraction, away from traditional style writing and its original essence and composition.

493. NestaBorn in 1976, Nesta is a French self-taught artist.. It was in the 90s that his artistic journey began, with his first letters drawn up in a group. It follows a long and rigorous learning to deform and entangle the letters, to invent a calligraphy of its own. Little by little the style evolves, the intention too. Nostalgia arrives without warning, with great reinforcement of the 70s items, spaces where nature freely flourishes in the interstices of concrete.. On the walls of the city or galleries, Nesta’s work invites us to let go. A walk in the wastelands of nostalgia, a green refuge in the heart of the city when everything is going too fast... This is what defines Nesta’s work: a space beyond time where weeds and dreams are freely expressed.
494. EslicerEslicer is an artist from Barcelona born in 1987. He started painting graffiti around 2004/2005 encouraged by some friends who also painted. He was always attracted by the Hip Hop culture.
Drawing since he was a child, he started painting some illegal stuff, but quickly moved towards muralism. The name comes from the original word for “Slick”, but it evolved little by little until today he calls himself “Eslicer”.
He doesn't like to label himself in any style, he likes realism, but also design and dripping. He likes the mix of cleanliness and chaos that each of these elements can bring, it can leave a very harmonious result.
