Esta pieza mural, destinada a tratar el tema de la igualdad de género a través del espejo, es un guiño a nuestra capacidad de comprensión hacia otras personas a través del conocimiento, la empatía y la tolerancia.

La obra, que utiliza como metáfora el “reflejo”, nos muestra que todos somos iguales ante la sociedad aunque seamos distintos. Que no importa el sexo, la raza, la religión u opinión personal para tener las mismas oportunidades en todos los aspectos de la vida como son el trabajo, la salud y la educación.

Comprender que todos tenemos los mismos derechos no debería ser motivo de discusión en la actualidad, que el género no suponga un problema a la hora de tener una vida digna y el respeto de las personas que nos rodean.

Que debemos seguir construyendo un espacio donde la capacidad de entender a la otra persona, nos haga mejores a nosotros mismos y nos transporte a una sociedad más justa y tolerante que avance hacia un mundo pacífico, próspero y sostenible.

This mural piece, intended to address the issue of gender equality through the mirror, is a nod to our ability to understand other people through knowledge, empathy and tolerance.

The work, which uses “reflection” as a metaphor, shows us that we are all equal before society even if we are different. That sex, race, religion or personal opinion does not matter to have the same opportunities in all aspects of life such as work, health and education.

Understanding that we all have the same rights should not be a reason for discussion today, that gender should not be a problem when it comes to having a dignified life and respect from the people around us.

That we must continue building a space where the ability to understand the other person makes us better ourselves and transports us to a more just and tolerant society that moves towards a peaceful, prosperous and sustainable world.
