Collective intervention for the second edition of the Festival "Keep it written, 2023" in Xeraco, Valencia, organized by local artists Peloch, Elrond and the crew Grow Up, and sponsored by the town local Council.

"Sólo llegarás más rápido, juntos llegaremos más lejos" is the Spanish translation of the African Proverb "If you want to go fast, go alone, if you want to go far, go together" and the name of this vibrant large-scale mural painted across the facade of a residential building.

It depicts a laughing black woman wearing colorful headwear and bulky turquoise earrings, beside her there is a detailed scarlet macaw parrot with striking colourful plumage. These two characters are set against a deep blue and purple background, (colors of Xeraco) and tropical leaf shapes.

The painting features a vibrant, contemporary muralism style that blends elements of photorealistic portrait with expressive, graphic illustration.

This piece is a joyous chant for diversity and togetherness as a mean to advance further
