DESCRIPTION: Wall on one of the walls of the external facilities of Mediterranean Space that combines geometric shapes, abstraction and a saturated palette of colors. Inspired by the intersection between architecture and digital art, the mural created by Toren aims to reflect the dynamism and modernity of the commercial environment. The intense colors and lines that contain them create a sense of movement that symbolizes the constant activity of the surrounding space.

torngel Toren is an urban artist who follows a certain tradition of advertising mural painting. The one that used to be hand-labeled by skilled painters. Often, the same ones painted the posters of theatres, cinemas and establishment labels. And those who today leave traces and evidence of their work on building walls or on the ground. That's where Angel Toren is. His training in graphic design and his interest in typography has led to the development of a work that moves between pictorial abstraction and certain resources/errors of digital work. Repetitions, optical games, plots, geometry, chromatic pallets, perspectives and three dimensions that, on the street, appear as big cards of adjustment that capture the attention of the viewer. DESCRIPCIÓN: Mural sobre una de las paredes de las instalaciones externas de Espacio Mediterráneo que combina formas geométricas, abstracción y una saturada paleta de colores. Inspirado en la intersección entre la arquitectura y el arte digital, el mural creado por Toren pretende reflejar el dinamismo y la modernidad del entorno comercial. Los intensos tonos de colores y las líneas que los contienen crean una sensación de movimiento el cual simboliza la actividad constante del espacio que lo rodea.

Ángel Toren es un artista urbano que sigue la estela de una cierta tradición de pintura mural publicitaria. La que antaño se rotulaba a mano por hábiles pintores. Muchas veces, los mismos que pintaban la cartelería de teatros, cines y rótulos de establecimientos. Y los mismos que hoy en día dejan rastros y pruebas de su trabajo en paredes de edificios o en el suelo. Ahí hay que situar a Ángel Toren. Su formación en diseño gráfico y su interés en la tipografía ha provocado el desarrollo de un trabajo que se mueve entre la abstracción pictórica y determinados recursos/errores del trabajo digital. Repeticiones, juegos ópticos, tramas, geometría, paletas cromáticas, perspectivas y tridimensiones que, en la calle, aparecen como grandes cartas de ajuste que captan la atención del espectador.
