Depuis 2007, OakOak a pour terrain de jeux les rues, les murs, les trottoirs et les routes.

Originaire de Saint Etienne, il colle ses dessins dans chacun des lieux qu’il traverse afin de faire naître un sourire chez le piéton au détour d’une rue là où il ne s’y attend pas.

Sa démarche consiste à détourner les éléments urbains, à s’amuser avec les défauts qui de prime abord semblent sans intérêt particulier, comme les fissures d’un mur.

Il y ajoute ainsi sa propre vision, ses propres références. Une manière d’imaginer l’espace urbain de manière plus poétique.

Since 2007, OakOak has had streets, walls, sidewalks and roads as its playground.

Originally from Saint Etienne, he sticks his drawings in each of the places he passes through to create a smile for the pedestrian around a street where he does not expect it.

His approach consists of diverting urban elements, to have fun with the defects that at first glance seem without particular interest, like the cracks in a wall.

He thus adds his own vision, his own references. A way of imagining urban space in a more poetic way.
