Students from Zone College Zwolle collaborated with artist Lonneke van Zutphen to create this air-purifying mural.

In 2022, the students at Zone College were given a task: to come up with an attractive, sustainable modification for the school. Three clever second-year students contacted artist Lonneke van Zutphen to create an air-purifying mural. They presented their idea so well to the director of Zone College that he said yes. Green light was given and Lonneke could start creating the artwork. In her design, Lonneke tried to incorporate all aspects of the school programme into the young student who symbolises the new contemporary and unique character of agriculture and horticulture in the Netherlands.

Studenten van het Zone College zorgden samen met kunstenares Lonneke van Zutphen voor deze luchtzuiverende muurschildering.

In 2022 kregen de studenten van het Zone College een taak: bedenk een mooie, duurzame aanpassing voor de school. Drie slimme tweedejaars studenten zochten contact met kunstenares Lonneke van Zutphen om een luchtzuiverende muurschildering te maken. Ze presenteerden hun idee zo goed aan de directeur van het Zone College, dat hij ja zei. Het groene licht werd gegeven en Lonneke kon aan de slag gaan met het creëren van het kunstwerk. In het ontwerp heeft Lonneke geprobeerd alle facetten van de opleiding een plekje te geven in de jonge studente die het nieuwe eigentijdse en eigenzinnige karakter van de land- en tuinbouw van Nederland symboliseert.
