"In 1992, Oliveira Donbell, better known as "Maninho", arrives in Portugal from Angola and settles in Lóios neighbourhood in Chelas, Lisbon. But he does not settle alone, with him also comes the passion for Basketball, immortalized by the first table that he set up on the spot and by the bull that he also painted on the ground, as a tribute to the legendary Michael Jordan team. Thus "Chicago" was born."

This is where the name "CHICAGO" cames from. For us was a true honor to paint this basketball court in this great community: CHELAS!
