“Right-click and Save As guy” was created by famous artist XCOPY as a 1/1 edition NFT which sold in December 2021 for 1600 ETH (a crypto currency), equivalent to roughly US$7 million at the time of the sale.

XCOPY is a digital artist very active in the field of Crypto Art and NFTs. His real identity is unknown. 

This “Right-click and Save As guy” piece was re-created on the exterior wall of Oshi Gallery in Collingwood by local artist World In Crisis, with the permission of XCOPY.

Oshi Gallery is quite unusual in that is specialises in NFTs and digital work. Their website says “Oshi is a purpose built gallery that brings the digital and physical worlds together. We aim to engage the public, artists and collectors in emerging cultural technologies, immersive experiences and the ever-changing space that is blockchain.”

I truly do not understand NFTs. Anyone?
