This mural is a testament to the untroubled freedom of stray cats, which the artist was taken with when he first came to Joo Chiat. This mural was painted with daring colour combinations directly inspired by Peranakan ceramics to fit the style of the neighbourhood and heritage shophouses. Jalan Jalan aims to evoke courage in its viewer to move forward from the uncertainties of the last two years through its bold colours and imagery.
