The Cologne native is also known internationally as the “banana sprayer”.He sprays the banana motif on the facades of museums and galleries around the world.The banana has thus become an unofficial symbol of art.He also paints large walls, like this one in 2022. In an interview on Radio Cologne, Baumgärtel explained his motive for this mural: “That the people and especially the freedom for the democratic movement in Ukraine are helped by all means possible, i.e. from this dictator and murdererwith megalomania called Vladimir Putin.I also say that until he's actually in prison, he won't end a war.So that’s my goal and my statement on Aachener Straße.” 

Als „Bananen-Sprayer“ ist der Kölner auch international ein Begriff. Das Bananenmotiv sprüht er an Hausfassaden von Museen und Galerien auf der ganzen Welt. In einem Interview im Radio Köln erklärte Baumgärtel sein Motiv zu diesem Mural: „Dass den Menschen und gerade der Freiheit zur Demokratiebewegung in der Ukraine mit allen Mitteln geholfen wird, also eben vor diesem Diktator und Mörder mit Größenwahn namens Wladimir Putin. Ich sag auch, bevor der nicht wirklich im Knast ist, wird er keinen Krieg beenden. Also das ist mein Ziel und dafür mein Statement auf der Aachener Straße.“
