"Am I my brother's keeper ?"

This mural draws from the biblical episode of Cain and Abel. The quote is used for its universal resonance as an embodiment of the ethical question per se: what do we do to each other?  

"The Lord asked Cain, “Where is your brother Abel?” He answered, “I don't know. Am I my brother's keeper?” Then the Lord said, “Why have you done this terrible thing? Your brother's blood is crying out to me from the ground, like a voice calling for revenge. You are placed under a curse and can no longer farm the soil.
