"100th Anniversary of Regaining Independence"

On November 10, 2018, Mayor Jacek Kolesiński, along with Director Agnieszka Nowicka and Village Administrator Józef Piwecki, unveiled a mural that adorns the wall of the Village Hall in Kopanica. The work by Marek Maksimovich and Anna Waluś depicts Colonel Stanisław Siuda, Knight of the Virtuti Militari, and commander of the victorious attack on Kopanica. The mural was created with a PLN 10,000 grant from the Marshal's Office.
