At the time of painting Florence Thornton was a student at Carlisle College and Otterly Fantastic was her first ever mural. Painted over the 5 days of the Blank Wall Assassin's Northern Paint Fest Florence 'wanted to raise awareness about otters and their conservation'. In doing so she officially became a Street Artist.
