This mural by Breda-based artist Rutger Termohlen is a special milestone: it is the first Blind Walls Gallery mural in Bavel and the organisation's 200th project.

The artwork brings the story of Saint Brigid to life, the saint after whom the Brigidastraat was named in 1947. Brigid, one of Ireland's most important saints, was known for caring for the poor and was also regarded as the patron saint of livestock. According to legend, she once milked a cow, made butter from the milk and gave it to those in need. The cow became one of her most recognisable symbols and can even be found in Bavel's coat of arms.

Termohlen (1977), an artist, illustrator and tattoo artist from Breda, is known for his bold and colourful visual language, often bringing together people, animals and other elements in dynamic compositions. His murals can be found in the Netherlands and beyond.
