Opposite the PRE-Park, the artist Daniel Ferino (also known as Maltag) designed a transformer station, operated by Stadtwerke Kaiserslautern (SWK). It, features various sights and symbols of the city, among them are the Stiftskirche, the town hall and Betzi, the mascot of local football club FCK.
