A StreetArt Bergen Project.
Lumi contrast is a definition of colors used in designing a room or are according to the building regulations so that those of us visually impaired are able to “navigate” the area more easy than if no lumi contrast colors were used. This is defined within The Norwegian Building regulations §1-1 Universal design.
What we have discovered is that the graffiti writers and the term lumi contrast builds on the same foundation – things should pop as writers say. Thereby we have been able to use “to pop” within the Buildings regulations § 1-1.
The pics show the project as the wall was when finished and before we started. We also did the columns in the room so that visually impaired would be able to see them as they move around in the room.
