Behind the pseudonym UDATXO is the Basque artist Udane Juaristi. Combining painting, collage, and photography, she captures everyday scenes that she encounters on her walks. Her murals depict people in urban spaces and, through bright colors, bring cheerfulness into urban monotony. For her contribution to MURALU, she uses historical photographs taken in the Valentin-Bauer housing estate as templates.
