If the dogs bark, Sancho, it's a sign that we're riding

Description

A popular phrase mistakenly attributed to Miguel de Cervantes and that does not appear in “Don Quixote de la Mancha”. The most widely accepted origin of this expression is that it was popularized by the poet Rubén Darío, who used it disparagingly to refer to those who criticized him for his mixed-race origins, and that it may in turn have been inspired by a German poem by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe or even a Turkish proverb.
