The utility box in the city centre of Koblenz features a flower in vivid shades of red and pink against a green background.

The design was created by Koblenz-based artist Steffen Tschuck, known by his artist name Citer. Between 2023 and 2025, he decorated several similar utility boxes throughout Koblenz.

On his website, he describes the project as follows:

“For the city of Koblenz, we have revitalised a series of utility boxes. Different locations, thematic areas and motifs make the formerly grey boxes shine in a new light, bringing a little piece of art into the hectic everyday life of the city centre.”
