Commissioned by Frankston City Council as a part of a State Government Seaford Business Activation Grant, this mural was painted at the beginning of the main shopping and pedestrian strip in Seaford.
The Seaford RSL is very active in the local community and Frankston City Council wanted to acknowledge their contribution. The mural is painted on the side of the Spanish Bar, which was the first cafe to set up along the strip nine years ago.
A coming together of the RSL and the Spanish Bar via botanical species felt natural. This mural features opulent poppies, sprigs of rosemary and carnations - Spain’s national flower.
