An exhibition of student artworks inspired by the theme of the river has opened on the banks of the Rēzekne River, transforming the promenade into an open-air gallery and inviting both local residents and visitors to become its audience.

River Stories is an exhibition by students of the Latgale Branch of the Art Academy of Latvia, temporarily housed along the fence of the pedestrian promenade on the banks of the Rēzekne River. Visitors are invited to pause, observe, and reflect as they explore 18 artworks. Although they all share a common motif—the river—no two works are alike.
