APEE (Parents and Guardians Association) Vale Flores in Coimbra is an association of parents and guardians that, in collaboration with the school community, organizes activities and services to support families, such as <AAAF (Family Entertainment and Support Activities) and CAF (Family Support Supplement), which cover preschool and elementary school children. APEE organizes summer camps, curricular enrichment activities, and festive events, working voluntarily to improve the quality of life for students and families at the school.

Born in Lobito, Angola, 1958. PhD in Communication Sciences (2005), degrees in Journalism (1999) and Law (1981) from the University of Coimbra.
He was a university professor from 2005 to 2025; a communications consultant for several Portuguese ports; and a journalist for TSF, Expresso, Grande Reportagem, TVI, Tal & Qual, and Jornal de Coimbra. He also worked as a photojournalist.
Member of the Assembly of the Republic (1983-1985), for PS.
He has published several books and photo albums.
