Thian Hock Keng Mural 天福宫壁画

Resembling a Chinese scroll spanning 42 metres on the back wall of the Thian Hock Keng Temple, the artwork was commissioned by Singapore Hokkien Huay Kuan and brings alive the heritage and vast history of the area. Many aspects of the artwork are accompanied with information, from the temple being the edge of Telok Ayer Bay and the Singapore River, to the customs and traditional practices of the olden days. The heritage and very educational artwork was officially opened during the ceremony of the Singapore Hokkien Festival 2017.
