After a little more than 18 months of construction and an investment of 5,8 Million Euro, Essen Kupferdreh’s new modern local transport hub was opened in 2019. Very quickly after its opening, the new bus station became a space-off area. The grey concrete surroundings were tagged wildly and most of the passers-by were confirmed in their prejudices about what graffiti is and didn’t feel safe and comfortable there. Kupferdreh’s citizenship has decided to invest money to give the bus stop at Kupferdreh S a new design.
