This painting is made by Belgian artist NEAN in the center of Lelystad. NEAN is an allround artist from Brussel. You could recognize his murals by his use of photorealistic portraits in combination with experimental elements. The landscape and the environment in which his depicted persons are located also play an important role in his work, making a connection with nature.  
 
This artist has the talent to beautifully portray humanity in an often vulnerable way, without presenting one clear story. This ensures that you as a viewer can link your own story to the work. This work of a person and the sea gives a dreamy and nostalgic impression. This is NEAN's first mural made entirely with paint.
