The artist had the opportunity to meet the neighbours and listen to their stories first hand, discover anecdotes and bring the memories of the neighbourhood back.

The final idea for the mural was born from those meetings. A ‘Pumar’ (apple tree) which gives a name to the ‘hood: ‘Pumarín’. Because, as the neigbours were saying, the area started being an apple tree field in the outskirts of the city.
