Street Art Cities

Wonderful interactive art project by Joep van Gassel in close collaboration with the residents and primary school pupils of the Korvel district.
The artist painted electricity boxes and waste bins on thirteen spots in the area. The painted objects are not only a beautification for the neighbourhood, they are also a scavenger hunt with challenging assignments for children of all ages. All the objects are numbered. The route begins at the Coba Pulskenslaan and is heading in the direction of the Rooseveltplein. The project arose from the need to mean something for the neighbourhood during the pandamic. Collaboration has been expressly sought with residents and young people from the area. Such an art project provides extra added value for the hood if you do it not only fór residents, but also wíth residents.
