Far from the idea of decorating the city, Escif sees his murals as pretexts for exchange. The context is for him one of the essential ingredients, the imagery that emerges above all at the service of the dialogue that he wishes to engage with the passers-by. The artist did a residency at the CFA Hilaire de Chardonnet in Besançon with the students. The high school students painted the result of their exchanges with Escif in situ, on the walls of their school.
