Originally from the Netherlands, where brick is a very popular material for building houses, the artist was charmed by the irregularity of the Chailluz stone facades in Besançon (a local stone, listed as a Unesco World Heritage Site). He chose to color the entire facade of a house in Place Marulaz with chalk, creating an amazing, playful and dreamlike patchwork of colors, letting the house express itself and thus momentarily breaking the uniform aesthetic while preserving the local heritage. Project created within the scope of the “8th Bien Urbain edition”, June 2018
