The bunker from the 2nd World War was painted by pupils from the School Aretzstraße. Gerd Lebjedzinski was the artist. Euregio-Project "Freedom (Frieden)". The bunker is a listed bulding.  The murals show parts of the Aachen's history. The inhabitants and tourists like the pictures.
