A street-art festival called "Arte Para Todos" (Art for all), was organized in this neighborhood of Seville in 2010, many frescoes were painted, small but also very great achievements.

The central element of this fresco seems to have an inspiration from Central America. A man plants seeds that have become a branched tree. The little boy, on the right side, is also planting a young seedling (July 2019 cliché).

Carin Stein is Dutch, but she has been living in Honduras for many years. Since he can remember, he's been painting. "At the age of three, he already had a brush in his hand," he admits laughing.

His mural shows the symbolism of the Mayan culture. "Today we have problems such as the lack of natural resources, corruption, political and social problems... We must understand that this is not a good way to improve the world. We have to learn a little about the Mayans, learn to take care of the planet," the artist confesses to Sevilla Actualidad.

Therefore, he has painted two children planting a little tree, "which symbolizes the future, hope... If we teach our children to respect nature, we would do much better," he admits.

Un festival de street-art llamado “Arte Para Todos” (Arte para todos), se organizó en este barrio de Sevilla en 2010, se pintaron muchos frescos, pequeños pero también muy grandes logros.

El elemento central de este fresco parece tener una inspiración de Centroamérica. Un hombre siembra semillas que se han convertido en un árbol ramificado. El niño pequeño, en la parte derecha, también está plantando una plántula joven (clichés de julio de 2019).

Carin Stein es holandesa, pero lleva muchos años viviendo en Honduras. Desde que tiene uso de razón está pintando. “Con tres años ya tenía un pincel en la mano”, reconoce entre risas.

Su  mural muestra la simbología de la cultura maya. “Hoy día tenemos problemas como la falta de recursos naturales, la corrupción, problemas políticos y sociales…Debemos entender que esta no es una buena forma para mejorar el mundo. Tenemos que aprender un poco de los mayas, aprender a cuidar el planeta”, confiesa la artista a Sevilla Actualidad.

Por ello, ha pintado a dos niños plantando un arbolito, “que simboliza el futuro, la esperanza… Si enseñamos a nuestros niños a respetar la naturaleza nos iría mucho mejor”, reconoce.
