Peppes Pizza - The Project

+8

Description

 A StreetArt Bergen Project.
This project came about based on a commission that could not be done. It was during the covid-pandemic with all it’s does and don’ts. So what we managed, based on common interests, were a new project on commission and a stencil festival in a corridor at Peppes Pizza at Nesttun. Nesttun is like ½-way between downtown Bergen and the airport. So a whole bunch of stencil artists joined forces and while one artist did a commission inside the restaurant the rest decorated the corridor next to the restaurant, and a couple of the offices next floor.
U might be allowed (most likely) to check out the corridor if u ask. There are quite a few stencils. In addition there are knit-art, hackle-art and ceramics – all part of the huge mix of graffiti, street and urban arts in Bergen.
The project took place March 2021. Original came: Ami, b.mo, Bly, CFH, Coma Girl, Lotte, Handala, MO, Lise, Mr. Adolfito, Pyritt, Razle, RIP, SR, SessArt and Takla.  It has later developed organic, becoming a spot where stencil artist drop by and put up new stencils. These hav since joined: HammeR, Gatefant, 10.Dig and Dr.AW join in with their works.
The commission was placed by Peppes Pizza AS Nesttun
Project management was by StreetArt Bergen

Started walking the streets back in 2015. This developed into shooting and documenting our streets. From there I dove into the scene becoming part of it. I developed the platform StreetArt Bergen (FB/STREETARTBERGEN.TRUE). A platform for documenting and organizing projects. By 2023 our projects have painted over 30K m2 of graffiti and street art in our turf. Largest single project was more than 13K m2.We don’t do tours nor merch. Good hunting in our turf.
