The Vale das Flores Linear Park is an open-access leisure area located in the urban area of Vale das Flores; it includes a cycle path/pedestrian circuit, a multi-sport court with artificial grass, and various children's entertainment facilities.

Born in Lobito, Angola, 1958. PhD in Communication Sciences (2005), degrees in Journalism (1999) and Law (1981) from the University of Coimbra.
He was a university professor from 2005 to 2025; a communications consultant for several Portuguese ports; and a journalist for TSF, Expresso, Grande Reportagem, TVI, Tal & Qual, and Jornal de Coimbra. He also worked as a photojournalist.
Member of the Assembly of the Republic (1983-1985), for PS.
He has published several books and photo albums.
