In 2019 a young student (Julie Van espen) disappeared on her way to Antwerp, several days later her body was found in the canal. Belgium was in shock and a lot of people were fed up with the unnecesary violence that has been haunting our society.

One year later Djoels painted a very special tribute to missed Julie who has inspired a lot of people to fight against abusive and sexual violence. When Djoels finished, Julie's parents came by and had a nice chat.
