Case Maclaim is no stranger to Ostend. He previously painted a beautiful portrait in Ostend, but now he took on the wall of a doctor and physiotherapist. In his typical realistic style, he painted a woman washing a white substance off her hands, a symbol of white washing. a practice in the film industry where white actors get more roles, even when it comes to non-white characters. Discrimination lies very close to his heart. The hands are a recurring subject, something that the owners of the house are particularly happy about. Their late mother's poem also mentioned hands.

Case Maclaim is geen onbekende voor Oostende. Eerder schilderde hij al een prachtig portret in Oostende, nu nam hij de muur van een arts en kinesiste voor zich. In zijn typische realistische stijl schilderde hij een vrouw die een witte substantie van de handen wast, symbool voor white washing. De Black Lives Matter-beweging ligt hem namelijk heel nauw aan het hart. De handen zijn een terugkerend onderwerp, iets waar de eigenaars van het huis bijzonder blij om zijn. Het gedicht van hun overleden moeder ging ook over handen.
