Look it up, the Maclaim crew became world famous for their hyper-realistic work. Case grew in that flow, but gradually added his own surreal layer. He often focuses on the human body. Case Maclaim combines hands, feet and heads with animal, abstract and surrealist forms to question the concept of human beings. He is also praised for his enormous technical baggage.

Case went to a café for work and chatted with the regulars. Local Alan, immediately stood out and told the story of his father who had fought the Nazis as a lieutenant. He decided to paint the man on the wall of the cafe.

Vaak focust hij op het menselijk lichaam. Case Maclaim combineert handen, voeten en hoofden met dierlijke, abstracte en surrealistische vormen om zo het concept mens in vraag te stellen. Hij wordt trouwens geroemd om zijn enorme technische bagage.

Case ging voor zijn werk op café en praatte wat met de vaste klanten. Oostendenaar Alan viel meteen op en bracht het verhaal van zijn vader die als luitenant tegen de nazi’s had gevochten. Hij besloot de man na te schilderen op de muur van het café.
